In a heartwarming testament to the impact of Edo State’s health reforms, the Edo State Health Insurance Commission (EDOHIC) joined in celebrating the Adewale family, who recently welcomed a set of triplet girls delivered safely under the State Health Insurance Scheme at Berta MedicalCentre, Benin City.
A delegation from the Commission, led by the Director of Customer Success, Mrs. Aya Femi-Monye, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Adewale. She conveyed the DG of EDOHIC ( Dr.Mrs. Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo) congratulatory message and presented gift items to the babies on behalf of the Commission.
Speaking during the visit, Mrs. Aya emphasized that access to the quality of care received by Mrs. Adewale was a clear demonstration of our Governor- His distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo’s vision of strengthening maternal and child health through the SHINE Agenda, which prioritizes accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all Edo residents.
She further applauded the Adewale family for trusting the scheme, assuring that the Commission will continue to work tirelessly to ensure families across the state enjoy healthcare without financial hardship.
In their remarks, Mr. and Mrs. Adewale expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Edo State-Sen. Monday Okpeholo, the DG- Dr. Mrs. Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo, Berta Medical Centre Benin City and the entire team at EDOHIC for the excellent care and support they received. They noted that the health insurance scheme eased the financial burden of the multiple birth and strengthened their confidence in Edo State Health Insurance Scheme.
